Petit Jean State Park (AR)

Picture

We drove to Petit Jean State Park for a 4 night stay. The drive got a lot prettier the closer we got to the park! Once you get close, you start seeing a lot of Pine trees and it gets very hilly fast!

We had reserved site #21, which is a fantastic site! You can see the lake, but still have woods nearby. We did have to use all of our leveling blocks, which was just enough!

The boys love their scooters!

Tripp loves to climb up these poles at every campground we stay at!

The boys setup their corn hole game on the tent pad. Tomorrow we’re going to setup a tent for them to play in (the same tent I’ve used for years, including two trips to Mt. Evans near Idaho Springs, CO.)

We got to hang out with some close friends who happened to be staying at this campground at the same time! We had a great time catching up with them.
The next day we hiked the Cedar Falls trail, which was really pretty! Huge rocks and a nice waterfall at the end!

The boys drove their RC boats while in the kayak, which was so fun! Awesome Christmas presents from Grandma and Grandpa that will get used a lot this summer!
